Calgary, August 27, 2021 – GlobalFest wraps for 2021, with the Canadian team putting on a spectacular Finale presentation at Elliston Park.

GlobalFest has come to its conclusion for another year, wrapping up Alberta’s Most Explosive Festival in Elliston Park tomorrow night. The winning team of the last four nights of competition will be announced just prior to the Finale pyromusical presentation.

The Finale show is a tribute to Canada’s rich history, created by designer Kelly Guille, of Archangel Fireworks Inc. called “Spirit of the Nation”. Influenced by many diverse cultures and heritages, our country’s Indigenous Peoples have been through many trials that have challenged their survival, their ways of life and indeed their history. We can listen to the people’s voices, use our voices to support and honour them, and all become part of the solution by remembering the history of all Canadians.

This is the last opportunity to take in the fireworks in the Southview seating area that was opened only for 2021. Don’t miss out on the closest vantage point ever to experience how the lake at Elliston Park.

Attendees are encouraged to bring waterproof jackets and blankets to stay warm and dry in the cool evening. Live updates and any weather holds will be announced across GlobalFest’s social media channels throughout the day.

Gates open 6pm, with over 20 international food booths to tempt the taste buds, and four stages around the lake providing entertainment from several of Calgary’s cultural associations. 

2020 ticket holders must exchange their tickets in person at the GlobalFest offices prior to attending the event or can hold their tickets over if they wish to defer until 2022.

Tickets are selling fast for this event, available online and on the gate. Only General Admission tickets remain.
