Festival Volunteer Opportunities
Each year, GlobalFest produces a world-class, multi-cultural and international fireworks festival dedicated to celebrating and showcasing Calgary’s cultural diversity.
We are looking for volunteers to help with GlobalFest at Elliston Park.
Volunteers will be able to contribute to the community while enjoying the sights and sounds of the festival!

Dates: August 15, 17, 20, 22, 24 (5 nights)
Location: Elliston Park – 1827 68th ST SE, Calgary, Alberta
CLOSED FOR 2024: Golf Tournament Volunteer Opportunities
Event Information:
This event is a one-day, all-day shift from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be transportation provided to shuttle volunteers and golfers to and from Muirfield Lakes.
Volunteers will be positioned at various holes throughout the day, and are expected to be at a hole for long hours of the day amidst possible weather conditions such as sun, wind, rain, etc.
- Location: Muirfield Lakes Golf Course, 612 Muirfield Lakes, Yalta, AB
- Date: Monday, June 17th, 2024
- All volunteers are entered in a draw for a prize giveaway!
Schedule:
- 11:15 am – Shuttle Service
- 12:00 pm – Volunteer Orientation
- 1:00 pm – Shotgun Start (Tee Off)
- 6:00 pm – Cocktail Reception (Volunteers are invited to stay for the reception – although it is not required)
- 7:30 pm – Shuttle Service
Qualifications:
- We ask that all volunteers be over the age of 18.
- We are also looking for 1-3 volunteers with valid ProServe Certification.
