(Calgary, AB – August 15, 2016) – On Tuesday, August 16, the 2016 Human Rights Forum presented by TD will host a panel discussion, titled “The Indigenous Experience: Discussing the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls” sponsored by Spirit Staffing & Consulting.
 
The speakers that will be featured in this panel discussion include moderator Jill Croteau (Global News Reporter) and panelists including the Honourable Richard Feehan (Alberta’s Minister of Indigenous Relations), Nicole Robertson (President & Chief Communications Advisor of Muskwa Productions & Consulting), and Deborah Green (a Diversity Specialist who has a sister on the list of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women).
 
The Human Rights Forum presented by TD is a free to attend panel discussion held at the Calgary Public Library’s John Dutton Theatre and has been offered as a part of GlobalFest’s programming since 2007. Recognized as an excellent platform for sharing experiences, knowledge, and practical solutions necessary to address issues of racism and discrimination, the Human Rights Forum presented by TD encourages systemic change across the Canadian community in a positive and safe environment.
