GlobalFest Hosts Citizenship Ceremony at Elliston Park
CALGARY, ALTA – On August 23rd, 2022 GlobalFest will welcome thirty-five new citizens to Canada in the second in-person ceremony since the pandemic began.
Who: GlobalFest with Calgary MLA, and Blackfoot Crossing Elder.
When: August 23rd, 2022 @ 6 p.m.
Where: Elliston Park
Please join GlobalFest as we host our first in-person citizenship ceremony since 2019. After this, there will be a small reception where the new citizens will be able to celebrate and take photos together. Friends and family of the new citizens are invited to enjoy the VIP Village hospitality and stay to watch Team France’s Pyromusical Presentation. This is the French team’s first GlobalFest appearance since 2014.

Media parking is available at the VIP Parking. If there are large cameras alternate support can be arranged. Please arrive at 5:30 p.m. at the Air Canada Village Stage to set up. Photography is allowed.
