What to Bring

Being a Calgarian comes with its perks, one of those perks is the abundance of festivals that the city has to offer. In saying that, in the midst of the hot summer months in Calgary it is important that you are fully prepared. Because GlobalFest is an outdoor celebration, be prepared for any weather by bringing a warm jacket, poncho, and sunglasses. Since this event is held in Calgary in the late summer, the weather can change rapidly, and it usually cools off after dark. Please prepare in advance by checking the weather and dressing appropriately. Please feel free to bring chairs, blankets, or tarps so you can stay warm!

There are some paved areas, but much of the park is grass and pathways are fine gravel, so wear appropriate footwear.
