GlobalFest 2012: Brazil Successfully Launches “Tropicalia” for Calgary Debut; USA Prepares for “Pops in the Park”, a Pyromusical Set to Top 40 this Friday
(Calgary, AB - August 15, 2012) A room full of approximately 300 people came together at the GlobalFest Human Rights Forum Breakfast presented in partnership with Bow Valley College early Wednesday morning. The breakfast, which took place at the Hyatt Regency Calgary, was a shared success with special guests The Right Honourable Paul Martin, and MLA Kent Hehr. Mr. Martin spoke with conviction and passion as he shared a vast amount of insight related to Aboriginal Education; a number of concrete solutions were explored. GlobalFest 2012 was honored to host a speaker of such calibre, and the knowledge, experience, and vision that Mr. Martin shared during the Forum could not have been better suited for the Aboriginal theme of the 2012 Human Rights Forum.
