CALGARY, AB (April 9, 2015) USA will be performing in place of Vietnam at this summer’s edition of The Trico Homes International Fireworks Festival. Due to circumstances beyond their control, festival organizers had to substitute Vietnam with another GlobalFest Champion country.
“It’s disappointing,” said Ken Goosen, Producer for GlobalFest. “The Vietnamese show last summer was brilliant, so we’re disappointed that they won’t be returning.”
Details regarding the USA team have yet to be announced, but Goosen promises a, truly American, red, white and blue evening.
“It will be big and loud; it’s what they do best.”
Tickets already purchased for Vietnam night, Thursday, August 27, will be honoured at the festival gates and do not need to be traded for USA tickets. No refunds will be provided.
Tickets and GlobalPasses can be purchased at all Calgary Co-op Customer Service Offices and Marlborough Mall starting May 3.
