New Scotland: New and Old – An Authentically Atlantic Experience
(Calgary, AB – August 23rd, 2017) Tomorrow, the fifth night of the Trico HomesInternational Fireworks will take place with a Maritime-inspired show from George Wade and Fireworks FX. Drawing inspiration from the unique sounds of Atlantic Canada, this show will feature a powerful and authentic soundtrack. Classical rhythms and melodies of Cape Breton will fuse with modern and emerging artists from Halifax to evoke the beautiful, warm, and fun-loving nature of the Maritime Provinces.
On Tuesday, August 22nd, Patrick Chandonnet of Feux Orion wowed GlobalFest attendees with his Québec themed presentation. “Canada in Music” took festival attendees on a rhythmic journey through the talented artists of Canada. Using both Francophone and Anglophone songs, the spectacle showcased Canada’s bilingualism through the universal language of music.
